Spanish Immersion
Sí 101: Introduccion
2nd Grade & up. Beginners welcome! Ability to reading and write (in English) required.
Learn Spanish in this immersive language class. Students will sing songs, read stories, and engage their home environments to learn the Spanish language. The class will include common language lessons – conversational Spanish, and beginner conjugation practice.
This will be a immersion class, meaning most instruction will be given in Spanish to maximize student exposure and practice.
There is a 10 student maximum for this class to ensure each student gets 1-on-1 time with the instructor.
Students will also be given resources for practicing Spanish outside of class times.
A notebook, pencil, drawing tools (crayons or colored pencils), and index cards are needed.
Teacher Bio:
Señora Nieto has a bachelors in Spanish with a minor in Latin American studies. She has lived in and experienced Spanish speaking cultures in Mexico, Spain, and the Dominican Republic. Spanish is her first language.
