Chess Masters at Brea Learning Center – All Levels
From beginner to competition ready, this chess class is perfect for students of all ages and skill levels. In class students will review the basic rules of chess before diving into opening theory, tactics, and strategy in an easy to understand format. By playing against other students, students will hone their skills and get experience playing a variety of chess variations! Each class includes instruction and match play. Advanced students will learn how to improve their board vision and make a plan that will result in checkmate.
This is an in-person class.
There is no waiting or viewing area for parents inside the building. All parents staying for the program will be asked to wait outside. Water and restrooms are available inside for students.
