Spanish Immersion – Virtual Class
Sí 102: Intermedio
2nd Grade & up. Beginners welcome! Ability to reading and write (in English) required.
Learn Spanish in this immersive language class. Students will sing songs, read stories, and engage their home environments to learn the Spanish language. The class will focus on building vocabulary and sentence structure. Basic knowledge of greetings, colors and numbers is recommended. This will be an immersion class, meaning most instruction will be given in Spanish to maximize student exposure and practice.
There is a 10 student maximum for this class to ensure each student gets 1-on-1 time with the instructor.
Students will also be given resources for practicing Spanish outside of class times.
A notebook, pencil, drawing tools (crayons or colored pencils), and index cards are needed.
Content covered in this class is new every month. If you have previously taken “Spanish 102 – Intermedio” feel free to take it again.
Prerequisites:
Review the following Spanish language words/phrases with your student before enrolling. These words/phrases will not be covered during this class but lessons and activities may rely on students knowing them.
- Basic greetings
- Colors
- Numbers
- Days of the week
- Alphabet
To learn all of the skills needed for this classes join “Spanish 101: Introduccion.”
*”Spanish 101: Introduccion” is not required to participate in this class as long as your student knows the above material.
